PartyLights.com offers several different types of string lights for decorating your backyard, restaurant or event. Below is a description of all the different types we offer.
Tip #1 ... Measure, measure, measure!!! When you think you know your length, measure it again. Get a piece of graph paper and draw a diagram of your event with your lighting.
Tip #2 ... Hanging distance is recommended up to 20 feet from point to point. Add a very durable and strong guide wire to attach your lights to for longer lengths and permanent installations. This will save you on the life of cord. Definitely use a guide wire for commercial grade products.
Tip #3 ... Determine which product is best for your needs. If you are hanging lights for a permanent location, gazebo, porch, restaurant patio, etc., go Commercial. They are the longest lasting and the best product. If you are just throwing a simple one-day event, go simple and easy -- C7 or C9 will do the trick!

Christmas-Style Cords & Bulbs
C7 Strings & Bulbs ... These strings are a candelabra base socket style and 18 gauge wire. We offer a variety of different bulbs in Clear and mostly Satin style bulbs. These items are sold with Strings and Bulbs separately so you can decorate your own way. Offered in 100 ft. cords, but for shorter lengths visit our Globe light section.
Globe Light Sets ... C7 candelabra base 18 gauge wire sets are sold with the bulbs and strings in prepackaged box. These sets come with 16’ and 26’ sets and have 3 different bulbs styles, G30 (1”), G40 (1.5”) and G50 (2”). These lights are also UL listed. For replacement bulbs, visit our C7 section.
C9 Strings & Bulbs ... These strings are a Intermediate base type bulb and 18 gauge wire. We offer a more variety of cord lengths and bulb types. We have the standard Christmas (pointy style) bulbs as well as our G40 (1.5" Clear) and G50 (2” Clear and Transparent colors).
C9 Custom Strings ... We have brought on 3 types of Custom cords in this section. We have 24”, 36” and 48” spacing in both white and green cords. These are standard Christmas style cords in an 18 gauge wire and use the same bulbs as in our C9 section. These strings are great for using with our paper lanterns and you can order the cord length you need.

Commercial Grade Strings & Bulbs
Perfect for permanent install and commercial applications. Great for the home too!
C9 Commercial Strings & Bulbs ... This product is available white or black cords with 15” spacing, choose the number of sockets you need and we cut the cords and assemble the plugs for you. This is a great product for permanent installations as it has a strong PVC socket with water tight seal around the bulb and on a 16 gauge wire. This product comes with plugs or it can be hardwired.
Medium Base Strings & Bulbs ... We offer a variety of choices in this section. We have white, green and black cords in pre-cut lengths at 48’ and 100’ and have plugs. We also offer a custom length option as well as an entire reel at 330’ for you to cut where you want without plugs. These are very sturdy with a heavy 16 gauge wire with PVC watertight sockets.
