PartyLights.com uses UPS for shipping all continental U.S. orders, and USPS for all non-continental U.S. and Canadian orders. UPS operates Monday thru Friday except all major holidays. We will post these exceptions as they occur because we close when UPS closes.
When Will My Order Be Shipped?
If we receive your order by 1:00 pm CST Monday through Friday your order is shipped the same business day. Orders received after 1:00 pm CST will be shipped the following business day. Exceptions include back-ordered items or if we happen to have a question about your order. If any part of your order is back ordered, we will hold your entire order until all items are ready to be shipped. If we do have a question about your order, we will contact you via email.
Holidays
During the year we are closed the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. If UPS is closed in addition to any of these days, we will be closed as well. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, UPS will delivery 2nd Day and Overnight packages only. There is no delivery for Ground and 3rd Day, and no packages are picked up. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, UPS does deliver all packages, however there is no package pick up.
Express Shipping
UPS offers a wide range of express options including 3rd Day, 2nd Day and Overnight. These options are guaranteed whereas Ground shipping is not guaranteed. For rates, see the chart below. If you select Express shipping and the item is back ordered, we will ship your requested method once we receive it in stock. Back order items may take 2-4 weeks for delivery.

UPS has until the end of the day Monday-Friday to delivery all express and ground packages. Overnight Next Day Air is delivered by 10:30 in most locations and by noon in remote locations. If you need your order shipped for Saturday delivery please call us to get a quote (or put it in the Special Instructions when placing your order and we will call you with the
quote)..
Calculate Shipping Time
You can calculate how many days your package will take to get to you once it leaves our warehouse. Go to the UPS Calculate Time and Cost page, enter Houston and 77024 as the "Ship From" information, enter your destination city and ZIP code, then click “Calculate Time Only”. Keep in mind if you place your order after 1:00 pm CST your Shipment Date will be tomorrow’s date not today’s date! Also note: UPS Ground shipping time is NOT guaranteed even though the UPS website lists the date as “Guaranteed By”. Only Express shipping is guaranteed. However, we have found that UPS is very accurate with their Ground shipping time estimations. If you have a deadline, you may want to allow a few extra days if you are going to select UPS Ground or select Express shipping to guarantee delivery.

Non-Continental U.S. Shipments
Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, APO and PO Box addresses are shipped USPS Priority Mail (see "USPS Other" rates in table above).
International Shipments
Currently we only ship to Canada. We use UPS due to the quicker ship times, better express options, better package tracking, and quicker clearing of customs. The times in transit are all listed as ranges because delivery always depends on how quickly a package clears customs. We do have a Non-Resident Importer account through UPS which helps our packages clear customs faster. PartyLights.com also pays all duties and taxes, therefore, you are not responsible for any additional shipping costs.
To get a better idea of how many days in transit your package will take, follow the “Calculate Shipping Time”, listed above. Keep in mind, that days are not guaranteed because it is dependent on how long a package takes to clear customs.
All deliveries are by the end of day. UPS does offer Worldwide Express (1-3 business days by 10:30 or 12:00 pm delivery), however, please call us or email us at customerservice@partylights.com for a quote and availability.
