This commercial grade lighting is intended to be hard-wired directly to a power source and does not come with a plug. We'll cut these strands to your desired length to make your own custom stringer! These are great for lighting building outlines, patio lighting, gazebos, or any other permanent lighting needs.
Custom Medium Commercial Stringers are sold by the socket. Each socket is equal to 2 feet. Enter the number of sockets you need in the quantity box, then click the BUY button (see below to calculate footage).
If you need to order multiple strands, enter the TOTAL number of sockets you need, then during checkout under Special Instructions, indicate the number of sockets you need on each strand. For examples, click here.

- For use with Medium base bulbs (sold separately).
- 24” spacing between sockets. To calculate length multiply # of sockets by 2. For instance, if you order 20 sockets, the length will equal 40 feet (20x2). There will be a 1 foot lead cord on both ends.
- These strands DO NOT come with a plug. They are intended to be hard-wired to a power source.
- Maximum run is 1800 watts. Max load for each socket is 25 watts. For 11 watt bulbs, you can order up to 163 sockets (326 ft.). For 15 watt bulbs up to 120 sockets (240 ft.). For 25 watt bulbs up to 72 sockets (144 ft.). Max load for each socket is 25 watts.
- If one bulb burns out, the rest stay lit.
- Manufactured with 14-gauge wire and high-quality sockets.
- PVC socket forms a tight weatherproof seal around the bulb.
- Indoor or outdoor use. For permanent installation.

Not sure how many sockets to order? Here's a quick formula to figure out the quantity of sockets you should order based on the total number of feet you need:
Total feet of lights needed ÷ 2 = Quantity of sockets to order* *If your answer is not a whole number, round up to the nearest whole number. For example: If you need 53 feet of lights, you would order 27 sockets (53÷2=26.5, round up to 27)
